Blue Lemons, Marie’s Gift is a short documentary about the extraordinary work of Marie Webb,  a Nova Scotia based artist and designer. The film highlights her successes and the importance of the support she receives from family, community, and her artist colleagues.  Marie continues to meet the challenges that Down syndrome presents but it is important that her work be recognized in the design marketplace rather than only in a disability context. The film catches poignantly that when Marie works with others, there is an exchange of love and respect – the beneficiary is community.
